Kyle Sarrecchia has been a professional in the addiction field for over ten years. After overcoming his own 19-year struggle with addition, he began his journey helping addicts recover at Summer House Detox in Miami, Florida as a Behavioral Health Technician in 2006. The position consisted of constant direct contact with people in the earliest stage of the recovery process. His tireless effort was recognized quickly and he was promoted to Discharge Planner after only 5 months in his original position. Kyle filled many roles at the detox center after the initial promotion. Case Manager, Insurance Verification Specialist, Addiction Counselor and Admissions Coordinator were some of the positions held concurrently with his Discharge Planner position.
In 2012 Kyle was asked to help design and build a new treatment program in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Pathway to Hope would open on August 31, 2012. Upon opening, Kyle held the positions of Program Director, Housing Director, and Primary Therapist. Pathway to Hope was built from a 12-bed facility to the 46-bed inpatient and 51-bed transitional living program it is today. Acquiring and maintaining DCF licensure and Joint Commission accreditation are two of the major areas Kyle was responsible for overseeing in addition to his regular day to day duties managing operations at the successful and well-respected treatment program. In May of 2016, Kyle was promoted to Executive Director of Pathway to Hope and held that position for Delphi Health Group until he became the Executive Director of Ocean Breeze Recovery in August of 2016.
